The founder of Goldmark, Graham Solomon, worked in Germany for 12 months specifically with the aim of bringing cutting edge European practices and professional standards to South Africa. We know that a standard is meaningless unless it’s maintained. All our plumbers and their assistants/trainees regularly attend training courses in new techniques, materials and technology. Plumbing, like all industries, has benefitted from huge technological advances in materials, electronics, automation and techniques. Concerns about the rising cost of energy has also made solar powered and heat exchange systems more important than ever. Our leading commercial clients are in the catering and leisure industry. Not only do they have the most complex installations requiring perfect presentation but they also need audited levels of reliability,hygiene and time management. We currently operate 5 teams of three (a plumber with 2 assistants) with full in-house 24/7 emergency coverage. All our installations are personally overseen by our founder Graham Solomon. The plumbing teams are backed up with a dedicated administrative team smoothing and co-ordinating logistics, resources and scheduling between clients, staff and suppliers.
