During: After: Client brief: Old outdated kitchen to be revamped to new contemporary look. What was done: The client opted for cabinetry with a mahogany finish to replace old white formica cupboards.Using reflective surfaces and finishes like white caesar stone, stainless steel handles and glass tiles we created the impression of more space,visual appeal and a sophisticated edge. What was done: Skylights were put in to bring in natural light. We created the illusion of a lower ceiling by putting a bulkhead across the feature wall with downlights to highlight contemporary artwork Above the bulkhead we applied an ivory,quartzite riven stone wall treatment for visual texture.
