Refuel Carriers and Petrotrade (Pty) Ltd has been in operation exporting Bulk fuel products within the SADC region since 2003. In order to offer our clients a wider variety of products, additional suppliers have been sourced and these equivalent products are dually offered to clients on quotation. Extensive supply into the SADC region has led to an agency contract for supply of Sasol Oils & Lubricants for both the local and Export Market. Petrotrade (Pty) Ltd has expanded its current operations into Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) through the supply of Gasoil (Diesel) to mining operations in the aforementioned countries. The company and its vehicles are South African registered. Refuel Carriers commenced operations in July 2004 and has, in the last five years, increased its fleet to a total of twenty fuel vehicles. Petrotrade has been trading with Sasol Oil from its inception, consequently a strong relationship has developed and Petrotrade is a preferred client of Sasol Oil. The managing members of Petrotrade (Pty) Ltd have combined trading experience within the region in excess of 14 years.Due to the increase in demand for products the members of Petrotrade (Pty) Ltd started Refuel Carriers, a sister company, to transport all of its products. The majority of Petrotrade product originates from Sasol Oil Ltd, however strategic supply relationships have developed with other suppliers in order to meet growing demand and increased competition. Most business operation emphasis is placed on bulk supply of product however Petrotrade operates 5 successful commercial retail fuel sites in Zimbabwe in partnership with other traders for the benefit of Bulk Vehicle Operators travelling through the region. Furthermore increasing demand for supply to local wholesalers and retailers has lead to supply opportunities in the local market and aggressive action has been employed by Petrotrade from beginning 2008 to actively pursue regular supply from sources to current
