Snow Lion Artefacts are retail and wholesale suppliers of Buddhist, Tibetan and Asian products imported from Nepal, India and across Asia.  At Snow Lion Artefacts we try to ensure that we source our Tibetan and Nepalese products from individuals and communities in support of the Tibetan People's refugees situation. Many of our goods are hand-made and support a range of communities. We do not purchase goods or products from companies who employ child labour and/or use unfair labour practices or inferior quality products. Our gifts and clothing items are bought with careful attention to source, manfacturing processes, employment practices and environmental impact.

Beginning with the alphabet, vowels and combination letters with stack letters, it represents the basic structure of Tibetan language accompanied by exercises after each lesson. This revised edition is being hailed as one of the best text books on Tibetan language. The author discusses the meeting between East and West, sacrificial dishes, how the bowls work, synchronization and inner message, shamanism and brainwaves and practical instruction for working with these sounds. A Tibetan Buddhist mala, or rosary, is used to count mantra recitations while helping to focus awareness and concentration. Tibetan malas often have counter beads at 27 bead intervals to aid the counting process and this is why some of our malas have 111 beads. The mala is generally held in the left hand and used with gentleness and respect. The guru bead is the 3 holed bead that is usually larger or more decorative. The first bead is held between the index finger and thumb, and with each count the thumb pulls another bead in place over the index finger. After completing a full circuit of the mala, the practitioner flips the mala around 180 degrees (this takes some practice) and continues as before, in reverse order. To clean your mala: gently wipe the beads using a damp cloth and place in sunlight to dry. Suitable for burning powder incense, resin incense and smudges. Tibetan incense is made with the purest ingredients using the masala method and is free from the carcinogenic stick found in other incenses as well as any camphorus or addictive properties. When burned, Tibetan incense produces a rich, earthy, and pure aroma which can help soothe and calm a restless mind. In Tibetan medicine, it is often used to alleviate depression, stress and anxiety. A daily incense or sang offering is an important part of Tibetan culture and most homes and monasteries will have a place reserved for offering incense. Due to the calming effect it has on the mind it is also widely used as an aid to meditation and relaxation. Contains the fragrance of Myrhh and other precious herbal medicinal ingredients which helps to releive Tension and aid Relaxation.
