To clean themselves they need to boil kettles get into some sort of basin and sponge themselves down enabling them to be presentable in some way. Imagine waking up to no hot water, the first place you’ll visit is the gym for a shower. We set out and designed a gravity fed geyser that would fit into any RDP house and informal settlements. Realizing this a bath and hand basin was designed to go with the geyser as a set that fits into this bathroom The building budget does not allow for hot water or a bath to be supplied by the builder. Moulds were commissioned at tremendous costs, personally financed and are being manufactured in Steeldale near Johannesburg. Retailers were approached and asked to assist in bringing hot running water to the people. This was done with enthusiasm, but one must remember that the market we are servicing is at the bottom of the pack and they have NEVER had hot water on tap or taken a BATH. Our mission is to get running hot water to 1 million people and appeal to corporates to assist by getting involved in building projects by sponsoring bathrooms in new houses being build. This will help the government with funds, create advertising opportunities for the corporates and make the house recipient very happy. The cost of a bathroom is a little less than a business lunch. This is our way of contributing to making a difference to the lives of fellow South Africans by giving them a BASIC NEED such as running HOT WATER. This is what we have done and now can offer the community very affordable running hot water and a bath at a fraction of what it did cost.
