Our manager searches locally and internationally, not only cover large managers, but include start-up and emerging managers who are often more nimble and opportunistic and can deliver better returns. We recognise that the asset class mix is usually the largest determinant of absolute risk, and hence employ sophisticated quantitative modelling techniques to design optimal asset class blends for our multi-manager offerings. We have in excess of 10 years experience in managing fund of hedge fund portfolios. She has over 18 years experience in financial markets. Fatima started her career as a lecturer at the University of Witwatersrand in Her areas of expertise include asset allocation and portfolio construction. As Head of Manager Research at 27four Investment Managers, Claire is responsible for manager research across asset classes locally, globally and across Africa. Claire is also highly skilled in the design of institutional investment strategies and adds significant value through her expertise in asset allocation, Asset Liability Modelling and Liability Driven Investments. As Head of Risk Management, Vic’s areas of expertise include mandate compliance monitoring, overall portfolio risk management and risk reporting. Vic adds significant value to the investment process through his knowledge and understanding of factors that contribute towards investment risk. Vic has been with 27four Investment Managers since inception of the firm. As Investment Strategist at 27four Investment Managers, Nadir’s areas of expertise include macroeconomic and asset allocation strategy research. He has the relevant skills that aid in understanding complex financial problems thereby contributing to both quantitative and qualitative aspects of our investment management process. Nadir is also strategically involved in 27four’s unit trust value proposition and is a regular financial markets contributor on radio and television.
