Transport is a family business which was established in 1961 and has been in the normal and abnormal load transport industry for over 50 years. It is with great excitement that we announce that we are expanding and are now OPEN in KZN, based in Durban and available to provide our service throughout the Province and anywhere in SA as a matter of fact. Our focus is being able to provide an affordable, results-driven, efficient and professional service. We also offer free indefinite storage of our client’s units, and ready for use at whichever site you may need it next !! He started with two Toyota Dyna’s, with which he worked for the J.H.B City Council over the years. His business grew to 15 vehicles all working for the J.H.B council. In 1980 we decided to go into another line of transport which was of all mobile units. We purchased our first horse, truck & low bed trailer. With their vision, they purchased another 4 vehicles and acquired several new clients. George was now retired and did not want to go back into the business. His youngest son Warwick was brought in and together with his sister Nadia they then ran the business. In 1993 Nadia emigrated to the U.S. By this time AGA Transport had stopped working for the council and had sold all the smaller vehicles. In 1996 Warwick married Claudia who has been his partner in the business since. AGA’s fleet has grown bigger over the years and transporting Park homes became a specialty. The business is still solely owned by his son Warwick and his wife Claudia, they manage the business together. Nothing is better than an anniversary that you can celebrate for a year! AGA Transport now runs a successful and growing fleet of Trucks, Trailers, a Superlink, Crane Trucks, a Side Loader and Roll backs. Our fleet consists of 29 Trucks with extendable trailers. We specialize in the transport and siting of all Prefab buildings, Park homes, Offices, Containers & Mobile units both Old and New, throughout Southern Africa. We also provide a service of attending to the necessary clearing at the borders. On delivery the same sheet is checked, the unit is levelled and the steps fitted, we also install the air-cons if necessary. All our equipment is checked and has the necessary certificates. Our staff are always equipped with the correct safety clothing and equipment as this is always compulsory on the mines and construction sites. Due to our profound and stable reputation, we pass this good service on to you the client, no job/contract too big or too small for us to take on. We also offer free indefinite storage of our client’s units.
