What you should know about ADE Labelling & Barcoding
Since 1989, Analytical Design Electronics have been leading suppliers of Barcoding Equipment. Our labels are produced in-house, according to very strict quality control procedures and printed by our label printing bureau with an average of 4 days turnaround time. We are able to offer over 250 different sizes and shapes of labels as well as 4 colour flexographic printing which is all converted in-house in our factory. Consecutively numbered paper, polyester, polyamide and other plastic labels are provided for many uses. Barcode label printing and tracking systems are available to address many areas. Ribbons vary in quality from a general purpose standard used in situations for pricing, low density bar codes etc. Nobody knows bar code printing better than the people who have printed over 3,5 billion labels for satisfied customers countrywide. It is with mixed feelings that we notify you that our Sales Manager, Christine Pieterse, has left the employment of ADE at the end of August Christine got engaged to be married and has moved to her home town, Tzaneen, to be with her fiance and pursue her dreams of starting her own family. All the packer needs to do is scan the marking on the transport packaging and press a button to dispense the specific foam bag required for the consignment in question. At the same time, photos or videos at a computer screen illustrate how to best position the packing material and goods in the package. Every Indian-origin drug will be counted and have its history documented soon. From July, each drug exported will have its packaging adequately laced with bar codes so that at any point during the supply chain or afterwards, if doubts are cast on the quality or efficacy of an India-made drug, the roots of the product can be traced back from the pharmacy to the factory and leakages and accountability fixed. The notification to mandate such barcoding has come from the ministry of commerce earlier this year even as the drug controller general of India (DCGI) plans to make such coding mandatory for all drugs-even those distributed and sold within the country-a decision challenged by drugmakers in the Allahabad High Court. If you are anything like me, who enjoys a good bottle of wine, you will find that its almost impossible to remember the name of the wine you had at the restaurant last Monday. And of course you will get to read about all the interesting things going on at ADE such as any upcoming events and new products being launched.
