ALACRITY TECHNOLOGIES, founded in 1998, is a privately held IT services business specialising in the provision of Strategic IT Consulting, Outsource Development Services, and short term Technical Resource Augmentation. His experience enables him to provide high quality strategic and operational solutions to both business development and value creation. LeRoy Paterson is a highly skilled executive-level professional with over 20 years’ experience in the financial and information technology services sector. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the business development and client engagement divisions, and also heads up the operational business in Gauteng. LeRoy’s career started in the Auditing profession and prior to joining Alacrity, he headed up several financial and operational divisions within Sanlam. He holds numerous qualifications and has professional membership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the institution for Sales & Marketing Executives International. He is hugely passionate about innovation, strategic business development, leadership, as well as empowering and developing teams. He is results driven and thoroughly enjoys working and dealing with professional people who have strong, energetic, positive attitudes. He firmly believes that building mutually-beneficial and long-lasting trusted partnerships is the key to success. She graduated from Cape Peninsula University Of Technology with a National Diploma in Business Administration (Personnel Management), coupled with an additional Certificate in Human Resources Management. Through her passion and enthusiasm for empowering people, she is driven by her commitment to contribute to the company’s strategy and vision by proactively and consistently engaging with our staff members who respect and trust her. He has a Diploma in Information Technology, and a further Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. Shabier gained his vast experience and knowledge through working in various roles such as: Software Developer; Team Lead; Project Manager; Project Owner and Development Manager, at a number of Information Technology companies. What he enjoys most about his role is the development of people in the organisation, and has actively involved himself in the graduate programme at Alacrity. Furthermore, his flexible, adaptable management approach ensures that delivery for all stakeholders is consistently met. Originally from Zimbabwe, Sheetal trained at Ernst & Young within their Entrepreneurial Services division, providing accounting services to various SME’s, from mining companies to sole proprietors. In 2009, she moved to South Africa where she worked for a private bookkeeping company prior to joining Alacrity. Sheetal is registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and is busy completing her studies to become a qualified Chartered Accountant. The Kay Mason Foundation (KMF) eliminates barriers to quality education for underprivileged South Africans. The foundation aims to empower learners and their families through education to bridge the opportunity gap which is one of South Africas greatest challenges. BizXnet aims to expose SMME’s to the best possible network creating support structures and B2B leads with a strong focus on social media; and to provide a forum for education and collaboration on social media technology, platforms and strategies while providing a conduit for communication and coordination between SMME companies.
