We believe that the experience of having your picture taken is just as important as actually having awesome photos. Ask any bride we’ve worked with, they will tell you that having a fun-loving photographer that knows their stuff, makes any stress of the day float away like bubbles in champagne. What an amazing ride it as been to have shot several hundred weddings, and yet each one is unique in it’s own right. Browse through some of our favourite shots throughout the years. We here at the AlexanderSmith wedding photography studio, believe that we are not just photographers, but storytellers and it’s our job to capture the wedding in such a way thaw e can retell the story in such a way that you can best re-live your wedding every-time you pick up your Album. There is really something strangely congruent about having this solemn yet festive occasion in a space that is equally. We believe that everything happens for a reason, just as we know our paths were meant to cross. We had loads of fun with you, never a dull moment, from our first meeting, then the e-shoot and finally the wedding. What sets Alexander Smith apart from the over saturated market of photographers, apart from his very apparent sense of quality and detail, is his ability to be personable. He treated us like good friends and that brought out the best in all the pictures because we were comfortable and felt safe about the photos. Secondly, when he works, he is never seen, is never in the way, to the point that when we viewed the photos afterwards we couldn’t once remember seeing him actually taking those photos. You won’t find a better overall photographer in the country. Your warm, bubbly personality just always made us feel so comfortable. We were instantly drawn to your passion for photography, it was really refreshing and inspiring to see! You have captured our wedding day photos so perfectly and beautifully that every time we look at them, we are completely reminded of our special day and the exact emotion we were feeling in each photo! These photo’s are unreal and we cannot wait to see the final product of what our special weekend looked like through your eyes! You contributed hugely to our weekend being as divine and as special as it was through your enthusiasm, passion for your work and great personality. Many of our guests complimented your work ethic and clear desire to make our weekend special. We loved having you there and feel truly blessed to have found you as our photographer. We all acknowledge that weddings are the most awesome events and we just dig being a part of someone’s big day. Awesome photographer and hilarious jester that’ll have you crying and laughing simultaneously. Jesus is the reason we do what we do and without His blessing our work would be pretty much worthless. We love spending summers in Europe then joining the birds and migrating south for the winter to enjoy the lovely African sun in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
