What you should know about All-o-matic

This company is well known for their excellent craftsmanship, innovation and quality. We are equipped to get you back on the road quickly and efficiently. We have always maintained that rebuilding automatic transmissions are not a mass producing activity. We see ourselves as a boutique facility where we strive to remanufacturing better than new. We are official distributors of LubeGard in Sub-Saharan Africa. We also do have a large holding of good used spares. These components are all checked for wear, cracks and defects before shipment. Good used transmissions are also available at discount prices. What we don’t have can be ordered internationally from our affiliated suppliers in the U.SA and Europe. Dramatically reduces friction & wear on metal parts and internal components. It provides lubrication and helps facilitate the assembly process, by holding components such as needle bearings and hydraulic seals in place. The modern automatic transmission is by far, the most complicated mechanical component in today's automobile. Automatic transmissions contain mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and computer controls, all working together in perfect harmony which goes virtually unnoticed until there is a problem and you need to replace some parts. We distribute automatic transmission parts all over Sub-Saharan Africa. Our remanufacturing process is synonymous to the latest processes and fixes worldwide. Root Cause Analysis is the process that differentiates this successful company from other competitors. Through ongoing research and development we know the weak points on each transmission as well as the latest modification and fixes that should be installed on the remanufactured units. Our aim is to let our remanufactured units out live the ORIGINAL transmission which was fitted to the vehicle. The rebuilding process starts with a full diagnostic failure report. symptoms presented or driveability. We make use of electronic scanners and diagnostic reports from the different dealerships. All major components of a vehicle are interconnected to each other via the CAN BUS system. This is where the engine communicates with the transmission. The ABS and speed sensors are also interlinked to the system. A problem in one of these three systems might affect proper transmission operation. On the output you have electronic pressure control solenoids, pulse with modulated pressure solenoids and shift solenoids. Once the technician has done all the tests on the above mentioned components and he is assured that all manage systems are working, the rebuilding process starts. The components are then cleaned in a special heated washing machine. After the cleaning process the transmission returns to the technician for final inspection. All components will be inspected for wear, cracks etc. Hard working solenoids such as the pulse modulated solenoids and pressure solenoids is replaced as part of the standard operating procedure. As part of the standard procedure al the wearable components are replaced. The transmission is then rebuilt to the original specification. Each transmission receives a designated Job Number with all the history recorded. After final inspection the transmission is crated, sealed and ready for delivery or installation.
