We are a family run business with over 35 years of experience in the pet industry. We have pioneered the retail market in South Africa, having had South Africa’s first Mega Retail Pet Shop. It didn’t take us long to build a name for ourselves as having the widest selection of fish, animals, accessories and knowledgeable service. Due to changing trends in the area we where forced to relocate. Our decision to open two stores in two different locations has enabled us to share with a wider public what a pet shop experience should feel like. In 2015 we decided that it was time to increase the Animal Kingdom footprint still further, Bluehills store was born.We pride ourselves on providing top quality, healthy fish,Reptiles, birds and small animals along with the widest selection of equipment and accessories. We attend all the international pet shows searching for the best quality products at the best possible prices. We also source a lot of our goods from the South African market which creates jobs. Our approach to the way we run our business is professional and friendly our customers only come second to our animals. We aim to change people’s perspectives of what a pet shop is and to make their experience an enjoyable one. We aim to house animals in the best possible conditions while they are with us. We aim to have our customers come back to our store with a smile on their face knowing they will always find our shop full of healthy, happy animals. We aim to have a shop as fully stocked as possible with everything you can think of for a pet and more. We aim to make our customers just as happy as our pets. We aim for our pets to be just as happy with there new owners as they where when they where with us. We have an all-round selection of animals such as birds, spiders and rodents, and an interesting selection of reptiles and exotics. We also have one of the biggest selections of fresh water fish and live plants. Our range of feeds, equipment and accessories for your hobby and love of animals is massive and of an exceptional standard. We also offer a delivery service when you purchase bulky items.
