He has 19 years post graduate experience including extensive experience in the project management of Civil Engineering projects embracing the full cycle of feasibility studies, detail design, procurement strategy, the preparation of tender documents and capital cost estimates, and procurement. Having worked for Scott Wilson for over 15 years, Washington, is fully conversant with all relevant international best practice related to administrative procedures, professional quality control, health and safety, ethical standards, and environmental protection. Washington is fully conversant with the procurement guidelines and standard tender dossiers of the World Bank, EU, AfDB, ASDI, NORAD, DANIDA and other major multi-lateral development banks. Crest provides Corporate Finance, Business Recovery and Risk Management advice to a wide variety of businesses. Peter’s experience ranges from project financing, financial structuring, risk evaluation, capital restructuring, company recoveries and turnarounds and mentoring. In 2011 he completed the successful recapitalisation of African Dawn Capital Limited, which is listed. on the JSE (AltX) and which was extensively reported on in the media when the majority of the Executive Directors were removed at the Company’s annual general meeting in Prior to forming Crest, Peter was an executive member of Absa Corporate & Merchant Bank (now Absa Capital) and carried executive responsibility for all Absa’s foreign operations at Board level. Peter is a Council and Exco Member and Chairman of the Finance Committee at St John’s College, Johannesburg.
