Paul started his career as a Lawyer in the UK with Shoosmiths in 1993, before realising this was not his vocation and decided to move into IT at the end of 1994 with Memory Technology, a storage company. Subsequently, he moved to the States with Shuttle Technology ending up as Business Development Director for the USA and Japan. In 1998 he set up Redstor with Tony Ruane and in his current role, Paul is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business and investigating and developing new business opportunities. Tony Ruane is co-founder of Redstor alongside Paul Evans. Tony has worked in the data storage industry since His career has spanned technical, sales and management roles in IT distribution, manufacturing, software, OEM and resellers and he has lived and worked in the UK, Australia, The Middle East and California. Based in Johannesburg, Albe applies his vast knowledge of the industry and the value of 16 years experience on a daily basis to ensure that the company is positioned at the forefront of digital transformation and related service provision. His interests lie in innovation/ emerging technologies and how things work. He is passionate about the application of Business Intelligence, risk and process improvement. He has been with the organisation since 2004 and during this time he has worked in a variety of roles within sales and management. As General Manager of Redstor UK (for 3 years), he played a key role in the growth and evolution of the organisation from a VAR/Reseller to a global SaaS business. Danie is one of the founding partners of Redstor and our Director of Product Management. He developed the first Backup Pro Storage Platform and many of his designs are still used. Today he is responsible for the Product Roadmap and still plays a very active role as part of the Development Team. He comes armed with an arsenal of skills and experience around agile methodologies, cloud computing, SaaS and UX, among others. Theodor is our Director of Software Engineering at Redstor. He continues to apply his skills and experience to sustain the company’s leadership position in next generation digitalisation architecture. Theodor has a deep interest in new technologies, management optimisation, process improvement, performance improvement, scalability and science fiction. Thomas Campbell, our Technical Services Director, has over 11 years’ experience as part of the UK based team, since graduating a Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Kent in He’s developed through a number of roles at Redstor including Senior Consultant, Product Manager and Head of Presales. Thomas’s expertise ideally positions him to contribute to product management and the direction and development of the Backup Pro platform whilst overseeing Presales, Consultancy, Support and Technical Operations.
