We currently have some 4000 students under our administration most of whom are registered at public HET institutions in South Africa.
We have an extensive client base, an excellent track record and represent the best practice in bursary scheme management in South Africa.
We are passionate about our business and our mission is to maximize the number of students qualifying in their chosen disciplines and entering the workplace.
In addition we administer Work Experience and Internship programmes which place 400 practical training students and 200 graduate interns at a range of host employers within the Mining and Minerals Sector.

We are an independent, owner managed organization founded in 1999 based in Johannesburg but with a national footprint. We are passionate about our business and our mission is to maximize the number of students qualifying in their chosen disciplines and entering the workplace. The bursary funded me until 4th year (Honours) and it didn’t just pay for my tuition fees, textbooks allowances, housing allowance and food allowance, they also made sure they pay for my vacation exposure with Harmony Gold Mine and Anglo American Thermal Coal. The meal, book and accommodation allowances were always paid on time which allowed me to focus on my degree, and tuition payments were never late. This is because the scholarship allowed me to attend a leading university that unlocked my potential and pushed me to stretch myself academically and personally. Career Wise is not just an organisation that administers scholarships- it is an organisation that is dedicated to honing the next generation of South African leaders through sharpening their interpersonal and professional skills and providing them with a world class education. The SETA environment is characterise by a high demand for reporting and Career Wise always came to our support when reports were demanded sometimes with tight deadlines. The reports that were produced were accurate with no requirement for rework. Career Wise have successfully administered and managed the bursary programme of Anglo American Coal South Africa since They have managed our bursary scheme exceptionally well and because of that we also awarded them the opportunity to manage our community scholarship scheme. Career Wise has been contracted to run the complete bursary management service for De Beers since 2003 to date. Career Wise is De Beers' preferred supplier as they operate in a niche market. Market surveys have shown that although companies rendering administration services are available, Career Wise has the necessary relationships with academic institutions that ensure quick and efficient service delivery. Their performance over the years has been of an exceptionally high quality and we have hesitation recommending them to any prospective client. Career Wise has been providing bursary management services to PPC since They are experienced in dealing with students and higher education institutions. They are also proactive and creative in dealing with the dynamics of the changing higher education environment. This service includes recruitment of bursars, orientation and support, payment of stipends and campus visitations. Throughout this period Career Wise has displayed a strong sense of passion and professionalism in undertaking the service. The bursary has been very successful in the quality of talent it has produced and there have been no adverse audit findings to date against the programme.
