Sandra does live caricature drawing at events and functions as well as caricature and cartoon commissions for a variety of clients. Sandra works from her studio in Johannesburg, and travels to functions all over South Africa to do live caricature drawing.
This page contains examples of caricatures drawn from photos. The paper caricatures are created using a combination of marker, pastel and pencil. The digital caricatures are drawn on a tablet, and the caricature figurines are created with clay. Clients range from private people to huge corporates. From young to old, people queue excitedly to have themselves immortalised in caricature form! Digital caricatures have to be printed out or can be sent to guests via e-mail, blue tooth or wifi. She enjoys the variety that the work brings and still loves every minute of it.
