From humble beginnings in 1985, located in a double garage in Mayfair Iain Falconer and his 2 man operation plied their trade in a very specialized field manufacturing and installing customized wooden hand rails and stair cases. Before long falcons foot print had expanded to 4 different factories in Jeppestown and their range of services had extended to shop fitting and furniture manufacturing. With falcons new found infrastructure and increased work force they became involved with SA breweries and various retail out lets including Edgars, Levisons, Deans, John Orres. In 1995 when Falcon was most heavily involved in the retail sector they were opening in excess of 1 store a day through out South Africa. With the turn of the century fast approaching Falcon was once again on the expansion trail and relocated to their current 6000sq.m premises in Heriotdale. With the new millennium came new challenges in the form of the casino and hospitality industry, which created a need for creative and fast track shopfitting on a scale previously not encountered with in the African region. Falcon embraced this challenge and in preparation for the anticipated work load ahead they upgraded their plant and machinery and once again increased their staff compliment. During the next 19 years Falcon fitted out hotels and casinos throughout Africa and as far-afield as South America. Falcon created a unique shopping experience for this Jo Malone store. Our in-house project managers co-ordinate the various trades and liaise with the professional team and the client to ensure out-standing quality with timeous delivery while our in-house quantity surveying team keeps the clients appraised of any cost variations and additions which may affect the final budget.
