Their primary business was bookbinding and the manufacturing of the old loose leaf accounting systems. Once William and Dion took over Zylstra & Son, they saw the potential of using existing craft bookbinders to start manufacturing exclusive corporate leather stationery. It was thus an easy decision to launch their new stationery lines under this brand. Over the years Ledger Systems has continued to grow, expanding their range of stationery products, bookbinding services and Digital printing services to keep up with the changing times. Being a family orientated business, staff are also seen and treated as extended family. We are proud of the employment history of our current staff, with our longest serving members having close on 30 years of uninterrupted service, and the majority, more than 10 years of service. All our current staff started either as cleaners, factory aids or kitchen assistants, working themselves up through the ranks, by means of in-house and external training. Considering that he was forced to leave school at the age of 14 years (with almost no education to speak of), to look after his family, this is quite an achievement that we are all proud of. Ledger Systems is a specialised stationery manufacturer. Besides our standard range of Falcon stationery products, we also custom-manufacture stationery according to clients’ requirements. We also manufacture post lock/push lock binders on order. Hotel/Hospitality Stationery: menus, bill folds, directory of services binders, desktop stationery, reservation binders and books, complaints and recommendation books, stationery folders. Bookbinding: We offer a full range of book binding services from perfect bound books to Thesis Dissertation books up to full leather hand-crafted bookbinding. Print on Demand Printing: We offer a full range of printing services, from digital single colour, full colour and litho printing. We are also able to print and bind small runs of photo books, and custom albums. Custom made Pilot’s Logbook for electronic logbooks.
