Plumbing in Johannesburg, Heat Pumps in Johannesburg, Solar Pumps in Johannesburg, Solar Systems in Johannesburg

He completed his apprenticeship and trade test 1992 and has run his own plumbing company since then. Gogreen Plumbers take pride in their well established customer base and have recently started a Facebook page that has already built up a good customer fan base. In 2009 he re-invented and re-branded an existing plumbing concern to incorporate a GoGreen strategy that has taken off in a very positive way. Electricity Consumption is only used to transfer heat from the surrounding environment, such as air. The heat pump has the ability to absorb heat (not create heat) and transfer heat by means of refrigerant, which captures the heat in the ambient air and transfers it to heat water. The fan on the heat pump circulates air through the outer evaporator that acts as the heat collector. The liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs the available heat in the ambient air, transforming it into refrigerant. When this warm refrigerant is compressed, it intensifies or concentrates the heat, similar to a magnifying glass in the sun. This intensely hot refridgerant is then pumper into a heat exchanger condensor where the actual heat transfer takes place. As the water passes through the heat exchanger, the hot gas gives up its heat to the cooler water. The refridgerant returns to a liquid state and is pumped through an expansion valve and then into an evaporator air coil, which starts the process over again. A Properly fitted Heat Pump can save up to 75% of your water heating bill. Direct system The direct system is used in areas where frost does not occur or where the ambient temperature never falls below 5ºC. Indirect system The indirect system is used in areas where frost occurs and where the ambient temperature falls below 5ºC. The system uses a dilution of propylene glycol and water as the heat transfer fluid. The potable water and the heat transfer fluid never mix. The heat transfer fluid passes through the double, jacketed tank and the solar collector panel/s, heating the potable water in the solar water heater indirectly. Both systems can be used as a split systems (pumped and thermosyphon circulation methods) or as a close coupled system (thermosyphon circulation method) and also work as a conventional electric water heater.
