Love Books is a small, independent book shop situated in the popular Bamboo Lifestyle Centre in the trendy suburb of Melville, Johannesburg. Our beautifully edited collection makes the job of finding the right book easier than ever, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, our knowledgeable staff are more than happy to track it down for you. We are exclusive stockists of Joostenberg, delicious wines from the old family farm in Stellenbosch. We also have a limited range of beautiful journals, handmade cards and international magazines. Love Books is a comfortable and imaginative place to spend time browsing, or curled up in one of our chairs with a cup of coffee and a pile of books. As one of the last remaining independent book shops in Jozi, we are a haven for book lovers and the local community of readers. Welcome to Love Books, where books are our passion. We offer a tightly curated, well-edited range of classy books that make book buying an exciting and inspiring experience. Our launches are supported by Joostenberg, delicious organic wines from the family estate in Stellenbosch. There’s nothing better than reading a novel set in your home town. It’s ambitious and beautifully written, though at times the plot suffers. Fiona Melrose was long listed for the 2017 Bailey’s Prize for her first novel, Midwinter. Gorgeously illustrated, full of fun and cheeky rabbits.
