Our courses & workshops are run from a professional photographic studio space, to give our students a real sense of the fashion & makeup industry. Owner of Accentuate Hair & Makeup, Jacqui Trinder has extensive experience and is a well-respected working professional makeup artist. During her time with M.A.C she was fortunate to work on various Africa Fashion Industry Fashion weeks. Mercedes Benz fashion weeks such as JHB, Cape Town and Durban as well as Africa Fashion week. Her biggest job to date being the Closing ceremony for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. Kits are built up as and when you have funds available and when you advance to the next stage. At Academy we ensure our students are using top quality products from the outset. Artists are provided with the necessary tools and products to replicate and practice the looks in class as part of the course price. We provide add-on kits should students wish to add on to the kits provided in each subject. Providing a full foundation kit as part of the course kits, not only pushes up the course price considerably but we think it is important for students to use different formulations and decide what works best for them.
