We have now reached a stage where we measure up individual clients and make garments according to the clients needs and size.
Most of our garments are made by home industries.
The last ten years we began specializing in garments for the traditional wear.
We also sell different fabrics directly to clients who wish to sew their own garments.
During the early years we were purely a retail outlet.

The business was then registered under the name Arcade Wholesalers. The business was run by the family with their two sons also working in the business. To this day, Hajra Wadee now in her 80’s still has some involvement in the business and is still affectionately known by our customers as Magogo. Your order will only become complete once we have received payment and have confirmed the availability of stock. Please note that payments from some banks may take more than 2 business days to reflect in our account and we will only be able to confirm the order once we can confirm that we have received your payment. Makotis also may refuse to provide products or services to you if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us. If we do so, we will let you know and we will be responsible for reimbursing you the amount you paid if you have already paid for the order. Makotis is committed to providing you with the best possible service. However, we are not responsible for interrupted, delayed or failed transmission, storage or delivery of information due to causes beyond our control. Some of our information is derived from external sources. We are not responsible for the incorrect information received from these external sources. Makotis uses external courier companies to deliver its products within South Africa and outside of South Africa. Special arrangements are required to be made for delivery for customers outside of South Africa. For delivery outside South Africa, Makotis will usually obtain a quotation for the delivery from a supplier and require the delivery to be prepaid before the products or goods are dispatched. We aim to deliver within the fastest possible time and we usually aim for you to get your goods not later than 6 working days from the date that we have confirmed receipt of your payment. If the goods include a bespoke item from Make it by Makotis, we will aim to deliver no later than 6 days from the agreed completion date of the order. If we foresee that we are unable to meet to the delivery date, we will try our best to let you know but we will not be liable or responsible for any damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that the Products are sufficient and suitable for your purposes and meet your individual requirements. Please note that delivery fees and cash handling fees are non-refundable.
