The basic construction process for building a road is similar for any road. The process begins with road design, including surveying the route, allowing for drainage and considering the expected volume of traffic and planned development in the area. As Master Specialists & Civil, our base layers are completed using graders, bulldozers, compactors with latest technology. After the road base is prepared and firmly compacted, the surface coating is installed. Asphalt requires an aggregate sub-base material layer, and then a base layer to be put into place first. Before the surface is paved with hot asphalt, it must be sprayed with a tack coat of liquid asphalt. A machine then heats the binder and aggregate and distributes it at an even depth. Master Specialists & Civil has surfaced from footpaths to major Highways with latest pavers. Priming consists of spraying a primer onto the compacted gravel or crushed rock base. This is carried out to prepare the surface for the subsequent seal coat and to assist in waterproofing the pavement. The nature of these works demands the close coordination with public utilities, local authorities and residents, with some projects being in close proximity to environmentally sensitive areas.
