It becomes what you want it to be; it is up to you what you make of it. We who run the backpackers are all guides that frequently return to the road, who love adventure, people and have the background and the knowledge to apply it to our daily life. Through the last three years we have built up a close relationship with overland companies, guides and individuals that keeps on returning and now call Mufasa Backpackers their home, as a matter of fact about 80% of our visitors are returning visitors, people that came for a day and stayed for a week, guides that is tired of the road stays here to unwind and find them self again, but they always return to the road, cause it’s like a magnet, it’s a lifestyle a never ending story. We offer good clean accommodation, home cooked meals and a family atmosphere, you will arrive here as a stranger and leave as a friend. We are a backpacker for backpackers that know what backpacking is about and that are familiar with the backpacker way of being. There are opportunities in pre-school children care, driving, teaching, or any skill you could bring to us. Volunteering in Sithabile is basically being part of a big family. We provide our volunteers with meals and accomodation during all the duration of their stay with us. As we are a very small organisation, we cannot offer our volunteers any remuneration for their work with us. For a stay longer than three months a visa is required.
