The company is a generalist private equity investor with a diverse portfolio of investments in industries including financial services, agriculture, healthcare, and hospitality. Pan-African is a long-term investor focused on making strategic equity investments primarily in unlisted companies in South Africa and the rest of the African continent. We provide patient capital for growth and replacement investment opportunities. Madichaba represents Pan-African on the boards of a number of its portfolio companies. She began her career in private equity at RMB Ventures, one of Rand Merchant Bank’s private equity teams, as an investment professional in She is a qualified chartered accountant, having completed her articles with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Sanjay has over 20 years’ experience in the private equity field from initiation of transactions, negotiation and to completion. Committee representations have included Audit, Social & Ethics, Remuneration, Transformation, Investment & Strategy Committees. Nooraya is an experienced and successful private equity transactor who was employed at the Private Equity Division of Rand Merchant Bank for eight years and resigned to pursue private interests. She currently serves on various boards as a non-executive director. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 after serving articles with BDO Spencer Steward. Zuko is the CEO of Pan-African Private Equity Fund. Zuko was previously also an Executive Director at Pan-African Capital Holdings and is responsible for strategy and acquisitions. Prior to Pan-African, Zuko was Executive Director at Brait Specialised Funds, the hedge fund of funds platform. He is a director of a number of companies in the PAPE Fund portfolio and in the Pan-African portfolio. Eutychus graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nairobi (Kenya) and subsequently joined PricewaterhouseCoopers where he qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Eutychus completed his MBA studies at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in 2000 and, the same year joined RMB as a Private Equity Transactor. He has extensive experience across all aspects of private equity from origination to exits. In 2009 Eutychus was appointed Co-head Head of RMB Ventures and he has since 2010 been a member of the RMB Management Board. She joined the RMB Ventures team in 2006 and has since been involved in transactions spanning various sectors. She has served on a number of the boards of RMB Ventures’ invested companies.
