Chris’s inspiration behind the companies name came from his love of the magical African sunrise. Chris’ early childhood showed signs of his inherent love of the wilderness and all the wild animals within. He grew up in Salisbury, Rhodesia now known as Zimbabwe (a true child of the bush), and moved to South Africa in His passion has continued, always eager to share the bush experiences with the uninitiated; especially with guests visiting Southern Africa, wanting a taste of the vast tracks of raw nature, at its best. He gained his National Tour Guiding Certificate in 2003 and has been guiding ever since. Guests absolutely love Chris and the knowledge he shares with them. Cultural tours, natural history, safaris and mountain biking through the most scenic parts of South Africa are his strong points. After touring with Chris, guests will return to their respective homes, inspired and enlightened with memories to last a life time; that’s a promise. This is where his love for the bush and all things wildlife started to flourish. His father Chris Murray, owner of Primaluce Tours & Safaris enjoyed sharing all his knowledge about nature, history and the rich culture in Southern Africa with his children. Cameron completed his BCom Degree in Strategic Marketing and his passion for growing the family business is unquestionable. He has a rooted interest for community upliftment and the rich cultural diversity in South Africa. Candice has had an admirable passion for the bush and South Africa since she was a little girl. She began her career in tourism by studying game ranging and has a certificate in Field Guide Level She then decided to study further in the field of Lodge Management. She managed a lodge in the Thornybush Private Nature Reserve for a while, where she developed her perfectionist nature, and with her attention to detail, no stone was left unturned. It was here that Chris and Cameron met Candice, whilst they were on a tour with guests at the lodge and saw this quality.
