Formulated films exhibit good resistance to abrasion, water and weather. This resin solution has been prepared for the formulation of publication gravure printing inks. Has unique dye laking properties in the absence of tannic acid. Used in flexographic and moisture set inks, especially when basic dyestuffs are present. In aqueous floor polishes it contributes excellent gloss, leveling and film clarity. The resin also functions as a high temperature plasticiser and contributes to the heat and light stability of the vinyl tile.
