Hugh graduated with a BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1985 and has been in practice for the past 30 years. Hugh has had extensive experience as a litigation, commercial and family law attorney. Hugh also does corporate training in the legal process. Colin is a qualified attorney, notary and conveyancer and has been in practice since May 1979 and specialises in conveyancing and property law. Residential occupants: Occupants residing on premises are afforded protection in terms of PIE (The Prevention of Illegal Eviction from and Unlawful Occupation of Land Act) with its many onerous requirements for eviction. Because the buyer had not complied with PIE, eviction was granted only for the non-residential occupants (the service station and various employees).
