Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid available in order to promote access to programmes offered at the college. This sub-division is responsible for supporting and enhancing academic performance. This is achieved by putting intervention measures in place where learning barriers are experienced as well as to ensure that all student precincts are fully equipped and operational. Intervention measures include among others; bridging the gap workshop for the new students, study skills workshop as well as organization of tutorials especially for subjects that seem to be challenging for the students. The Campus Life sub-division promotes the health and well-being of students, addresses important aspects of governance and ensures vibrant student activities at the college. This sub-division being responsible for promotion and branding of the college, is involved in exhibitions and expos that are arranged around Gauteng. CEED is engaged in the career development, job readiness and entrepreneurship programmes which are aimed at supporting the students as they enter the college, during their academic stay and as they exit after successful completion of their studies. It operates under two units namely; Employment and Entrepreneurship Units. The SRC election process was held in February and they were inducted into the new office. The SRC comprises of students from various campuses and also represent the student body in various Council Committees. The SRC activities for the year are planned and carried out accordingly. After the enrolment process, new students are introduced to relevant course information in order to assist them to achieve their personal objectives through a smooth transition to College life. Substance abuse and HIV /AIDS awareness days held in an attempt to promote health and wellness which encompasses personal hygiene and care. The challenge though is to encourage female students to participate in such activities.
