We have various Jazz line ups in the same band to suite your needs. The audience simply love it and this can be heard by their chit chat and the ordering of more rounds. Recognizable jazz songs are made contemporary and beated up to sound groovy and almost danceable. New Jazz brings an audience onto the stage. Each song is hand picked and varied to provide a rendition that touches the hearts of an audience and appeals to their sense of beat, melody and harmony. It’s up tempo versions of a selection of jazz music that will have you clicking your fingers and tapping your toes. Our idea of new jazz is a selection of jazz music that’s meant to excite and enthuse. These consist mainly of Jazz Piano, Jazz Flute, Jazz Saxophone, Jazz Percussion and Jazz BassNew Jazz is synonymous with contemporary jazz. The Band can be made up of a Jazz Duo, Jazz Trio, Jazz Quartet or Jazz Quintet depending on whichever Jazz Ensemble you desire. They often come up and suggest song.

The Jazz Pianist, the Jazz Drummer, the Jazz Bassist and the Jazz Saxophonist are key members of the band. We network with a Jazz Trumpet Player, a Jazz Guitarist and various other Jazz Musicians to cater for Jazz Ensembles to suite your requirements. The band manager, Barney Pavitt is the lead Jazz Vocalist. He has a repertoire of in excess of 300 songs which range from Jazz to Commercial Music and Party-time Music. Some years ago he owned the Jazz Club, Behind the Moon in Durban where he gained a considerable amount of experience with Audio and Repertoire. This meant that one had to read the audience in order to satisfy their musical tastes. Our current band has the same capacity even as a music duo or dance trio by the use of self made backing tracks suited to maintain a live feel. Our keyboard Player Valentia Ferlito is no novice to the industry. Valencia has been around for many years and is the popular choice of fine establishments, local musicians and visiting bands. He has featured in concerts as piano and keyboard player throughout South Africa and abroad. He is normally head hunted by international players because of his versatility and charming personality.
