They all experience an ever-increasing scarcity of well skilled, educated and properly trained staff! When we founded The Team Training Consultants, our main aim was job creation and improved skills. The Company has always been committed to providing all our clientele and students with the highest possible standard of service. Each and every candidate carries equal importance to us and they have always been treated with equal respect irrespective of their educational level or status. Our aim is to instill in all students the confidence of carrying out their daily duties efficiently. Initially in 1981 we started off by only offering practical Cooking Courses. However, we soon came to realize the huge demand in all sectors for quality training, and as time went by we used our knowledge and skills to broaden our horizons into all service orientated organizations. Our first Service Excellence training course, which was presented way back in the late eighties, was directed at blue collared staff working within a corporate environment and feeling somewhat overwhelmed or intimidated. Since then we have presented this same course to numerous corporate organizations with great success. We were especially proud to be associated with Unity College where we trained small groups of their pupils in Basic Cooking Skills, thus improving impaired children’s employment opportunities. Our restaurant experience has led us to secure extensive contracts for different franchise groups and has included the training of staff; the establishing of all systems and operations; overseeing the opening of new franchises; compiling and writing of the operations and training manuals and providing on-going support to both Franchisors and Franchisees. In 2007 we were contracted by Chuckleberry’s Franchises to provide all the catering and operations on their behalf at the Women’s World Cup of Golf, which was held at Sun City. When Mr. Price opened their in-house coffee shops under the name Kitchen Confidential, we were privileged to provide them with on-site training in a number of their stores, both in the Cape and within Gauteng.
