Preliminary and comprehensive estimates of construction cost for budget purposes. Cost optimisation to bring project costs to within the clients budgeted parameters. Calling for tenders or negotiating the construction cost with a contractor on behalf of the Client. Attending site meetings at regular intervals to suit the nature and size of the project in order to keep abreast with contractual matters affecting costs. Attending consultant co-ordination meetings and management meetings. Preparing estimates of cost for proposed variations for client decision making. Maintaining a running financial management statement and monitoring against the budget. Issuing project financial reports at regular intervals. Adjudicating and resolving the financial and contractual aspects of cliams between the client and the contractor (Excluding services relating to mediation, arbitration and litigation) Determining and agreeing all variations and adjustments for incorporation into the final account. In 2009 operations were expanded to the Limpopo offices with Elijah Hlagala heading this branch. Elijah had worked his way from a trainee Quantity surveyor to a partner in the Limpopo Offices. The combined experience of the members of the close corporation varies from Construction Management, Project Management to traditional Quantity Surveying. A wealth of experience has been gained from a wide range of projects incorporating Shopping Centres, Hotels, Warehouses, Office Blocks, Educational Facilities, Hospitals, Filling Stations, Stadiums, Cluster Home Developments, to name a few of the types of projects. This practice has the necessary experience to effectively respond to client requirements with the highest level of professionalism, skill and commitment.
