I do stress relief for pregnant women, post birth healing and re-balancing, pelvic floor release, natural inductions, rebozo and other treatments to help with pregnancy and labour as well as breast feeding facilitation. I am a registered Therapeutic Reflexologist and also specialise in pregnancy, birth and post pregnancy.
The reflexology which I practice incorporates the Chinese theories of meridians and the 5 elements which play detrimental roles in keeping your body healthy.
It is believed that the entire body is mapped on the soles of the feet and by stimulating the reflex points the therapist also stimulates the corresponding area/organ in the body promoting self healing should that area/organ be under stress.
Reflexology is an ancient therapy whereby the therapist applies finger pressure to reflexes on the soles of the feet.
Besides reflexology I am a (non-practicing) doula.

Pregnancy is a very special time in a woman’s life, a time for her to consciously nurture herself and the little baby growing inside of her, as well as thoughtfully explore her birthing options and to connect with the people around her who will be offering their support during this miraculous journey to motherhood. Birthrite consciously guides and supports women through the unique and exciting processes of pregnancy, birth and becoming a mother. It is not only a woman who is affected by this process, but men too, and this period of transition from woman to mother and man to father may be accompanied by many fears and doubts along with great excitement and a world of unknown. Loving support during this time is of the essence and is sorely lacking in our day and age. Pregnancy and childbirth are a tremendous opportunity for learning, transformation and for nurturing the foundations of love in the family. My organic, holistic childbirth education classes, doula services and infant massage classes aid in building that foundation of love with ante-natal, birth and post-natal support for all mothers and parents during a time of great change.
