Watermaker was the first portable water technology able to clarify and disinfect naturally polluted water in a single step without the need for training or specialised equipment. The success of Watermaker led to the development of a range of other products and technologies used in potable water, hygiene, food preparation, outdoor sport and crop protection. Waterborne disease is therefore not related to water availability, but rather its quality. Raw water of high turbidity shields pathogens from ordinary disinfectants and filtration methods. Watermaker overcomes this with a patented, high-speed clarifier component. Its unique formula performs across the widest range of water types and requires less chemical per litre in comparison to similar technologies.
