TREMISANA GAME LODGE is our flagship establishment and is relatively upmarket. It is the largest and leading Big Five game lodge in the Balule Section of Kruger National Park. We have 18 chalets as well as a 2-bedroom guesthouse. The exquisite luxuriant gardens and water features make this camp a veritable oasis. Guests at Tremisana enjoy the best of both types of safaris: the traditional lodge operation includes a 4 hour bush walk and 4.5 hour sunset game drive on open Landcruisers including an unforgettable Bush Braai (BBQ) in the middle of wildest Africa while our guests will also enjoy full day open vehicle Kruger Park safaris. We are delighted to have received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award yet again for 2016! KATEKANI TENTED LODGE comprises of six beautifully appointed Tented Chalets. Each chalet has a thatched roof and is elevated so as to allow for spectacular views of the bushveld. The domestication of wild animals is, for me personally, not a good idea. The Spotted Hyena has a strong neck and forequarters with a sloping back. Its colourful plumage and short tail render it unmistakeable. Our stay at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge was wonderful we found the accommodation rustic but clean and quite which added to its charm, the game viewing was excellent with our guides both knowledgeable and helpful. We went as a young couple, but the age range was vast, from single people of all ages, to older couples and families. Please share this with staff and owners alike: everyone was very knowledgeable, congenial, helpful and a pleasure to be with. It was much more than just seeing wildlife in their environment. It was learning the facts and details of the history, the land, the people, the native plants and animals that rounded out our experience. Food was delicious, accommodations were more than comfortable and the surrounding grounds and landscape beautiful (at both sites).
